Environmental Group on tour...

Tuesday, 19th of June, we departed from Vryburg at around 11 pm and arrived in Howick, Umgheni Valley around 12 noon the next day.


We were welcomed by Tee and SK, our guides for the next two days. We were at Umgheni Valley from the 20th to the 21st of June. Saturday morning, 22nd of June, we left for Treasure Beach Educational Centre near Durban. Milisa, Sindi and Keun were our guides for the next two days.

We left Durban on the 24th of June. The whole camp trip was to teach learners about the environment and how we each leave a footprint with all our ways of doing things. We visited a wetland, Howick falls and also had the chance to see the Mandela "Long walk to Freedom" monument.


Thank you to our parents and the school for affording us this opportunity.
